I trained at the Wits University Drama School, and am currently completing a higher degree at the University of Cape Town. Many have said that I am equally at home on the stage and in front of the camera. But to tell the truth I'm most at home on the couch in front of the TV.
I do have a number of international feature film roles to my credit including The Deal where I play opposite William H. Macy and Meg Ryan; see it for our shower scene. In Goodbye Bafana I appear with Joseph Feinnes, and Denis Heysbert while Mercenary for Justice sees me avoid trading blows with tough-guy Steven Seagal. I'm also seen regularly in television roles in South Africa, Germany, Canada and the US.
I'll admit to a weakness for the smell of the crowd and the roar of the greasepaint. Among my successful stage roles, a rich baritone voice and a musical ear have seen me through six seasons touring with the internationally acclaimed a cappella group Not the Midnight Mass.
A brief collage of some of my screen work is on this showreel.
I play a sharp-eyed loner in the brooding drama, Barren
I am second fiddle to Steven Segal in Mercenary for Justice.
Meg Ryan and William H. Macey tolerate my character in The Deal.
